In celebration of the UK launch of their second album “Shamanaid”, MY BABY are hosting a bespoke night at 229 The Venue, 229 Gt Portland Street, London MY BABY is a Dutch/New Zealand three piece that play a brand of trance-like, blues inspired, psychedelic funk. They were personally selected by blues, legend Seasick Steve to open for him on all 14 shows of his current UK Tour . A blend of fingerpickin’ guitars, voodoo, roots, funk, gospel and Southern swampy blues create their unique musical style. “Shamanaid” is causing a huge stir in Holland; #2 on the Concerto Album Chart (Concerto is the biggest music specialty store in The Netherlands), #6 on the iTunes list and they entered at #7 on the Dutch “Album Top 100”. They have performed on the Dutch prime time TV talk show “De Wereld Draait Door” and their performance received so much feedback that MY BABY became a “trending topic"
