MARC O'REILLY

Marc O'Reilly has established himself as one of the most exciting artists within the folk/blues genre gaining comparisons with artists such as John Martyn and Ray Lamontagne.

2015 saw Marc tour all over Europe including appearances at major festivals like Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and Boardmasters and squeezing in a trip to the US to appear at the Live in the Vineyard Festival in Napa, California.

His alter-ego side project with his brother Pierre, the electro-pop duo ‘R’, recently receieved excellent radio support for their debut single ‘Change’ from tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq (BBC 6music), Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) and Paul McLoone (Today FM).

Marc has also provided vocals on 3 tracks for the new album by MOBO winning act Karios 4tet which was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, has received 4 star reviews from Mojo, The Independent and Guardian and has led to the recording of a live BBC Maida Vale session for the Jamie Cullum Show on Radio 2.

JENNAH BELL

Inspired by poets, writers and singer/songwriters such as John Steinbeck, James Baldwin and Stevie Wonder, she negotiates deftly between folk, soul, r&b and pop. Her pure, distinct voice is reminiscent of an array of predecessors, sometimes Billie Holiday, Carole King, occasionally even Dolly Parton. Her singing is delightfully expressive and varied; the way she interprets her songs instantly entrances.

After growing up in Oakland (US), singer/songwriter Jennah Bell moved to New York.

New York’s music scene embraced Jennah enthusiastically, with her first self-produced EP ‘Early Bird’ and her live EP ‘Live at Mother NY’. She played at the BET Awards in 2012, CMJ’s Music Marathon, SXSW Music Festival, as well as the main stage at The Roots Picnic, followed by North Sea Jazz Festival in 2013.

Her recently released single ‘Candied Daylight’ was immediately hailed by platforms such as The Fader, Afropunk and Okayplayer.

Bell is currently touring Europe promoting her first studio EP ‘Anatomy’, which she made with engineer and producer Russell Elevado (of D’Angelo’s Voodoo and Black Messiah) and producer James Poyser, appears this autumn.

“I first met Jennah Bell in New York City at SOBs and we were back stage and she was warming up for her set and she picked up her guitar and began to play her music her guitar she silenced the room. Everybody instantly connected with her vibe and her energy and from that point I realized that she was a serious artist.” Cody Chesnutt (Recording Artist)
