THE SCRUFF CLUB
The Scruff Club bonded over a mutual taste for the chaos, noise and exaggerating stories. Over the past year they have played co...untless venues and shows around the UK perfecting their live show. A few notable appearances include Camden Rocks, Hanwell Hootie and Sofar Sounds.
Zurich are a 3- piece Rock band from Oxford, returning to the Discovery stage. They play widescreen post-punk rock with a nod to the darker side of 80's electronic pop. Following the release of their debut EP Small Wars produced by Gary Stevenson (go west, spandau ballet, abc) they toured the UK and had their first shows in Asia in November 2017. The band are set to release their new single “Where You've Been” ahead of their highly-anticipated second release due later this year.
“Imagine that Simple Minds ate Echo and the Bunnymen for breakfast and you're halfway there...Zurich will go far. – BBC Introducing
“Zurich are not to be taken lightly...” QH Music
LET MAN LOOSE
Let Man Loose are a four-piece rock band from Hull, inspired by Queens of the Stone Age, the associated Palm Springs low desert scene and Sheffield’s Arctic Monkeys. Expect a blend of thunderous fuzz boxes and tuneful East Yorkshire dialect.
2017 saw the band solidify a place in their hometown's flourishing music scene, performing at esteemed venues across the country and recording multiple sessions for BBC Music Introducing, culminating in the release of their debut EP 'Vol. 1' on Warren Records.
2018 promises the release of 'Vol. 2' supported by further shows across the United Kingdom.
‘There is something about ‘Shotgun Good Fun’ that’s as dangerous and as exhilarating as letting go of the steering wheel’ / Backseat Mafia
‘With hints of Queens of the Stone Age and the Arctic Monkey, the boys have created a new style of hard-hitting desert rock’ / Reyt Good Music
No stranger to the music world, Midnight Mouth is a new incarnation getting ready to release his debut single. About to make new waves, you don't want to miss his melancholic guitar tones in this special solo performance.
