SIMON D JAMES

Simon D James debut EP 'Songs from a Dream Long Forgotten' is out now along with the new single ‘My Everything’.

The EP Includes previously released singles 'Dearest Lovely World' and 'In the Field' both which have received National Radio play on BBC 6 Music and Amazing Radio as well as receiving many amazing review from different press.

Hard to pigeon-hole, James sits somewhere in the Alt Folk / Indie world. You can hear the influence of classic songwriter such as Bowie and Cobain. He has been compared to contemporariness such as: The Decemberists, Vance Joy, Cosmo Sheldrake and The Everything Everything.

Starting out busking his way through Europe and going on to bring Delhi train station to a standstill as thousands came to watch him play on the platform, there seems to be nowhere Simon can't charm with his music!

'Songs from a dream long Forgotten' sees Simon team up with the producers at Green Mount Studio, Lee Smith & Jamie Lockhart, who arrange and play a wide variety of instruments, including violin, synths and glockenspiel. Simon showcases his collaboration with artists and long time friends, Peter Moore on 'Burn The Man' and Kate Mc Sherry on 'Take Your Time'.

VAN SUSANS

Van Susans are renowned for creating powerful, upbeat and hook-laden songs, packed full of soaring guitars and anthemic melodies.

The new single ‘Crossroads’ is out now through their label Beatnik Geek Records. Having picked up it’s debut airplay from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins and numerous regional plays across the UK, the band are set to release their new album Human Heat for March 2019. Having played many festivals last year including Towersey Festival and having supported Imagine Dragons at London's The O2, the band are set for an even bigger 2019.

The core song writing duo consists of frontman Olly Van Andrews with his rich, gravely vocals and trusty acoustic guitar and Ed Dullaway on piano and guitar (often at the same time). With classically trained Holly McLatchie, the Scottish femme fatale on violin, Dean Gibb on drums and Harvey Simpson on bass to complete the quintet.

The new album was recorded with producer legend Colin Eliiot (Richard Hawley, Slow Club) in his Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield.

ELEVNS

Electronic and beat makers Gramm and Aurelian met through different projects. Their joint love of Kaytranada, Snakehips, GRADES, J Dilla, 20Syl, Oshi, Flume and Brasstracks is obvious in their stunning collection of beats. Over the past year they have been carefully selecting some of their favourite artists and collaborators, approaching them via friends and Instagram to create their debut EP “Faces and Places” embodying the catchy, diverse and international nature of their sound.

They are special musicians taking inspiration from innovators like Steve Jobs and the street artist KAWS. They see technology as a means to develop music and creativity; something to be embraced and unafraid to ignite the joy of new discovery in the listener.

They have the backing of ROLI (and later Soundbrenner) who supply them with equipment, after getting their attention at a conference about creativity including a talk between Pharrell Williams and ROLI founder Roland Lamb in New York.

SATIN BEIGE

Satin Beige is an R&B cellist and singer songwriter. Since graduating from LIPA in 2015 she has received a special mention at the UK Music awards (2017), supported Roachford on his UK tour, played two sold out nights at The Music Room (Philharmonic Hall) supporting Connie Lush and performed with Tommy Scott from Space. She has enjoyed airplay on BBC Introducing Merseyside and her single “Being Me”- a song addressing attitudes towards race- has been played by BBC introducing Merseyside and BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson show).

Satin has recently been in the studio with R&B artist Ray J (Love and Hip Hop Hollywood) and supported Chelcee Grimes (RCA) at her sold out hometown show in Liverpool. November 2018 saw the release of Satin’s single ‘Being Me’, a pop R’n’B anthem with carnival vibes.

2019 looks set to be an exciting year for Satin who is looking forward to working with award winning British producer/songwriter Artful (Mark Hill), and playing at South By South West in Austin, Texas in March.

“Being Me” is available now through iGlobal and is available is to stream and download on all major platforms.
