Y.O.U.N.G

Y.O.U.N.G are a Manchester based 5 piece who blend rap and rock vocal hooks, heavy drum beats, grooving basslines with melodic guitar riffs and electronic sounds, all taken from a diverse range of influences such as 21 Pilots, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day and Linkin Park, forging and creating their own style of infectious music. They have established their own self release platform, 'Beautiful Noise'

POLITIK

POLITIK is a female-led indie trio based in London, UK. Their sound is best described as alternative ethereal rock, drawing on influences such as Florence + The Machine, The XX & Coldplay. After graduating from their music studies, the trio ventured overseas, honing their craft while travelling the coasts of Europe, Australia, Asia, the South Pacific, the Caribbean, and the American east coast. After two years abroad, the band returned to South Africa with an arsenal of songs and travel experiences to record their debut album in August 2016.

“[the] trio use their cinematic style to build a momentous amount of potent energy with

subtle yet anthemic build ups by mixing elements from a myriad of different genres. I have no doubt that POLITIK can unite fans of ambient electro pop and alt rock simultaneously with their gripping visceral sound.” - A&R FACTORY

“The somber, gritty track showcases the band’s impressive skill set, and offers something new to the local rock scene. ‘Fade’ is emotional and well-crafted, intermingling perfectly with the otherworldly atmosphere created by its visually stunning music video.”– TEXXAND THE CITY

JAMES HOLT

James Holt is a solo artist from Manchester/Bolton who has been receiving attention and support from a host of revered musicians, DJs and radio hosts. Among them: Brian Eno, BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary), BBC 6 Music (Chris Hawkins) BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio Lancashire, ITV Introducing, Amazing Radio, Radio X (John Kennedy), XS Manchester, KCRW, KEXP. His musical achievements are all the more impressive considering he was diagnosed with bilateral moderate-to-severe hearing loss at the age of four and has since worked to overcome his disability by graduating with a first class honours degree and MA in Music Composition at the University of Salford. Sounds like Crowded House, Aztec Camera, The Smiths, Bob Dylan, John Lennon. One review commented that it sounded like Johnny Marr had joined the Beatles and the Beach Boys in the studio for a day.

"Brisk, funny, exciting… feels fresh and exciting to listen to.” (Brian Eno).

“Love James’ voice on that new single. Sounding great. Classy track.” (John Kennedy, Radio X)

"We think James is going to be one of those spontaneous artists, when there's a gig or something that catapults him. He's always there, lurking with these great tunes, very talented, very wonderful - absolutely love his voice.” (BBC Introducing Manchester).

Kaia Vieira

Ominous jazz-soul vocals meet 90’s-inspired trip-hop and DnB beats in Kaia Vieira’s world of groove and grit. Influenced by the UK movements in modern soul, electro-jazz and DnB/dubstep, Kaia crafts the range of her influences into a strikingly unique sound whilst rebelling relentlessly against genre boundaries. Fans talk of connecting to Kaia’s conscious and authentic song-writing as well as her defining tone, likening her music to the realms of Portishead, Erykah Badu and James Blake. She recently released her latest single, Make It Your Own Way.
